- Account information if you register (name, email, dietary preferences, favorite recipe types, preferred store)

- A session cookie to maintain your login state
We do not use analytics tracking scripts or advertising pixels.
(c) Information from Third Parties
If you connect your Kroger account, we receive a temporary access token to add items to your cart. We do not store your Kroger password, and we do not access your Kroger purchase history.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Find nearby grocery stores and current deals
- Generate personalized recipe suggestions using AI
- Save your preferences and favorite recipes
- Improve and maintain the Service
- Respond to your inquiries and support requests
We explicitly do NOT:
- Sell your personal information to third parties
- Build advertising profiles based on your activity
- Share your data with data brokers or marketing companies
- Use your data for any purpose other than providing and improving the Service
4. Third-Party Services
We integrate with the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy. Each service receives only the minimum data necessary to provide its function.

5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Supabase, which runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. We protect your data using:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Hashed session tokens (never plain-text)
- Row-level security policies on our database
- Environment variables for all API keys and secrets
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
6. Data Retention
- Zip code search results are cached for up to 30 days
- Deal data is cached for 24 hours
- Account data is retained while your account is active
- Saved recipes are retained until you delete them
If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Update or correct your account information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Opt out of Kroger integration at any time
- Request a copy of your data

8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
