Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs fresh Black Angus sirloin tip steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 medium apples, peeled and cut into chunks
- 3 medium carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 3 medium potatoes, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Steps
- Add steak cubes, apples, carrots, potatoes, onion, and beef broth to a slow cooker.
- Season with thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours (or high for 4 hours) until beef is very tender.
- Stir before serving.
- Serve in bowls as a hearty stew.
